Addleshaw Goddard expands Abu Dhabi team with senior partner relocations and hire

Andrew Carter, Matthew Williams and Richard Davies have joined Addleshaw Goddard's Abu Dhabi office.

Andrew Carter relocated to Abu Dhabi in December as a senior partner in the firm’s commercial practice with a focus on transport and mobility. He advises public and private sector clients on complex transport, logistics and mobility projects, supporting initiatives that contribute to the development of integrated, efficient and future-ready transport networks.

Matthew Williams relocated from the UK to Abu Dhabi in early January as a senior partner and co-head of power, infrastructure projects & energy. His experience spans the full lifecycle of energy and projects and sector-specific M&A, including conventional power, renewables and energy transition mandates.

Richard Davies joins Addleshaw Goddard from BCLP as a construction & engineering partner. His advisory work focuses on complex construction and engineering projects across the UAE, including transport and urban development mandates; he handles transactions and disputes relating to major development, construction and engineering projects across sectors including rail, air mobility, airports, urban development, district cooling and desalination.
