Huppert joins Winston & Strawn from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, where he served as a trial attorney and counsel to the Assistant Attorney General. At the DOJ, he served in lead roles on trial teams in monopolization and merger cases and advised Antitrust Division leadership on the Division’s civil litigation portfolio under both the Biden and Trump administrations.
A first-chair trial lawyer with an antitrust focus, Huppert brings extensive litigation experience. Prior to his service at the DOJ, he worked in private practice for seven years representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all stages of high-stakes litigation matters and served in multiple federal clerkships.
