Lorenc brings decades of experience to a nationwide employment law practice, advising organizations on a wide range of workforce and compliance matters. She represents employers across industries with a particular focus on the technology sector and numerous Chicago-area tech companies. She frequently serves in an in-house general counsel capacity, partnering with HR leaders, management teams, and internal legal departments to mitigate risk and support business objectives. Her work includes counseling clients through every stage of the employee life cycle, negotiating employment and severance agreements, and providing strategic guidance on workforce issues arising in mergers and acquisitions. Lorenc also has extensive litigation experience, including multiple successful arbitrations, jury trials, and federal court appeals.
Lorenc joins Dorsey from Thompson Coburn LLP, where she was a Partner. She received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her B.A. from the University of Michigan.
