Fieldfisher launches Munich real estate practice with partner hire Michael Ziegaus-Clavien
"Fieldfisher has launched a Munich real estate practice by hiring partner Michael Ziegaus‑Clavien, who will work on real estate asset management, commercial leasing and complex transactions."
He joins from DLA Piper and brings extensive experience in real estate asset management, commercial leasing and complex transactions. He advises national and international investors and corporates across the full lifecycle of commercial real estate assets.
Michael also brings strong experience and deep connections across the technology, energy & natural resources, and life sciences sectors, and has expertise in real estate‑related data protection and IT law, including digitised building structures and smart buildings. His arrival further strengthens Fieldfisher’s European real estate practice, which now comprises 43 partners.
His appointment supports Fieldfisher’s One Europe strategy; in Munich he will play a key role in establishing and growing the real estate offering, with a particular focus on the strategic expansion of the real estate asset management division and the further development of the firm’s presence in southern Germany.
