Tiago Amorim joins Cuatrecasas Porto office as partner in public law

Amorim joins Cuatrecasas from Miranda & Associados, bringing 30 years of professional experience. His practice focuses primarily on administrative law and he has advised on complex public‑private projects over the past decades. In dispute resolution, he has acted as counsel in arbitration proceedings and has also served as an arbitrator. He has combined legal practice with an academic career, teaching seminars and postgraduate courses at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Porto School, and the University of Porto.
Tiago Amorim holds a law degree from UCP – Porto School and completed postgraduate courses in Spatial Planning, Urban Planning and Environmental Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and in The New Administrative Litigation at UCP – Porto School. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, is the author of several legal articles published in collective works and specialist journals, and regularly participates as a speaker at lectures and conferences.
