Andersen appoints Jacopo Celesia as partner

"Jacopo Celesia joins Andersen as partner in its litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and arbitration practice. He was counsel at Legance and specialises in energy, real estate, procurement, pharmaceutical and technology disputes."

Jacopo Celesia has joined Andersen as a partner in the firm’s litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and arbitration practice.

Celesia was previously counsel at Legance. He is specialised in the management of complex litigation in the energy and real estate sectors, in civil, industrial and tertiary procurement, and in the pharmaceutical and new technologies fields. He has assisted corporations, investment funds and private investors in significant disputes — before state courts and before national and international arbitral bodies — relating to real estate developments, general contracting relationships and insurance disputes. He joins Andersen with the seniority of partner, having served as counsel at his prior firm.

Andrea De Vecchi, CEO of Andersen Italy and co-managing partner for Europe of Andersen Global, commented that Celesia’s arrival represents a further step in the development of the firm’s Legal practice and noted that the litigation & arbitration department now counts 25 professionals. Francesco Inturri, coordinator of the legal area, added that the hire further consolidates the dispute resolution department by adding distinctive skills and significant experience in handling technically and legally complex litigation.
