McNallen focuses on project development and finance across energy generation, storage, transmission and distribution, and infrastructure. He brings deep experience structuring and negotiating engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and build-transfer agreement (BTA) transactions and has represented developers on over 7,000 MW of battery energy storage projects, including the multi-phase Edwards & Sanborn Solar + Storage project in Southern California. McNallen joins Orrick as a partner from Reed Smith, where he was a partner.
