Matthew Harris has joined Squire Patton Boggs as a partner in its Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group in Birmingham. He joins the firm from Gowling WLG.

Harris is a commercial technology lawyer who advises clients on strategic technology matters and complex transactions. He supports organisations on IT and outsourcing arrangements, digital transformation projects, software development and licensing, SaaS, data commercialisation and artificial intelligence, as well as technology and data regulation, including data privacy. He has more than 10 years’ experience across the retail, telecommunications, energy and manufacturing sectors. He joins Squire Patton Boggs at partner level from Gowling WLG.
