Nixon Peabody adds tax partner Nicholas Gerlach to San Francisco Corporate team

Gerlach’s practice sits at the intersection of corporate and partnership tax. He advises clients on business-driven tax solutions for a variety of transactions, including acquisitions, partnership formations, joint ventures, restructurings, fund formations, spin-offs, redemptions, and hybrid transactions. He works with clients across a wide range of industries on tax considerations throughout the lifecycle of complex deals and collaborates closely with corporate, private equity, real estate, and finance teams. Gerlach counsels on corporate tax, S-corporation matters, partnership tax law, state and local tax, representations and warranties, tax insurance, and tax due diligence for buyers. He joins Nixon Peabody as a Corporate partner.
Gerlach earned his JD from Syracuse University College of Law, an LLM from Georgetown University Law Center, and a BA from Villanova University.
