Weil, Gotshal & Manges Strengthens Private Funds Group with Partner David J. Greene
"Weil, Gotshal & Manges hires partner David J. Greene into its Private Funds Group to advise private fund sponsors on fund formation, fundraising, structuring and regulatory matters."
David represents private fund sponsors in the formation, operation and management of private investment funds and related alternative asset arrangements. His practice encompasses global fundraising; structuring U.S. and international investment and operating platforms; negotiating strategic partnerships and co-investments; and advising on regulatory and compliance matters. He also advises sponsors across energy, infrastructure, power and renewables, oil and gas, financial services and other private investment strategies.
Greene joins Weil as a partner. He was previously a partner in the Investment Funds Practice at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
