42 Law Firm appoints Mattia Russo as of counsel in cybersecurity

Mattia Russo is a cybersecurity specialist and the founder of Layerdelta, a company that provides cybersecurity audit services. He is an expert in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing and adopts a real-world approach to security focused on proactive identification of critical vulnerabilities. His technical expertise ranges from reverse engineering of complex architectures to infrastructural hardening. Russo joins 42 Law Firm as of counsel, coming from Layerdelta where he served as founder, and will be integrated into the cybersecurity practice led by partner Matteo Flora.
In his role as of counsel, Russo will support companies and in-house legal teams in protecting strategic digital assets by integrating advanced red teaming techniques with incident response processes, providing a concrete technical defence that complements and strengthens compliance pathways, in particular on privacy and information security.
