Mr. Clancy is a recognised leader in derivatives and structured products with a proven 25-year track record. He advises a diverse client base that includes leading financial institutions, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, investment funds, private equity sponsors and managers, corporates and financial infrastructure providers. His practice covers a wide range of complex financial products, with particular depth in credit default swaps and equity-linked products, and related financing structures such as collar financings, margin loans and total return swap facilities. He also has experience with bonds, convertibles, exchangeables, capital issuances, repackagings, securitisations and CLOs.
Mr. Clancy regularly advises on trading and financing documentation, including prime brokerage and custody arrangements, ISDA documentation, repo and stock lending, as well as letters of credit, standbys, performance bonds and bank guarantees. He holds an M.A. from Oxford University and an M.Sc. from London Business School.
