Haynes Boone Welcomes Antitrust M&A Partner Paul Feinstein to Washington, D.C. Office

Feinstein joins Haynes Boone from Venable LLP, where he began his legal career and accumulated more than 12 years of transactional antitrust experience. He also has an extensive background in antitrust litigation and investigations. Entering Haynes Boone as a partner, his practice will focus on transactional antitrust work including Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) reportability and filings, advising on antitrust risks in potential transactions, negotiating antitrust terms in purchase agreements, designing and managing clean-team protocols for due diligence, guiding transactions through agency merger investigations, and counselling on preclosing coordination and integration issues. The prior seniority held at his former firm is not specified in the announcement.
Haynes Boone said Feinstein’s addition strengthens the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and its Mergers and Acquisitions practice, and provides clients access to a transactional team experienced in complex corporate matters. The firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group has handled more than 500 transactions in the last five years with an aggregate value exceeding $50 billion.
