Arnold & Porter Strengthens Capital Markets Team with Christopher DeCresce in New York
"Arnold & Porter has hired Christopher DeCresce as a partner in its Capital Markets team within the Corporate & Finance practice in New York to work on capital markets, securities and financial services matters, including FinTech and crypto."
DeCresce focuses his practice on capital markets and securities transactions for financial institutions. He regularly works on private equity investments, initial public offerings, debt and equity offerings, regulatory matters, and major mergers and acquisitions, often in the financial services and life sciences sectors. He also frequently works on FinTech and tokenization transactions, advising cryptocurrency companies on corporate matters. In addition to his private legal practice experience, DeCresce has served as a managing director in the investment banking group of a middle-market, financial services-focused investment bank. He joins Arnold & Porter at partner level and is based in the firm’s New York office.
DeCresce holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from New York Law School and a B.A., cum laude, from City College of the City University of New York.
