Winston & Strawn Adds Partner David Love to Leveraged Finance Team
"Winston & Strawn has added partner David Love in Chicago to its Finance Practice; he will focus on leveraged finance and acquisition financings for private equity sponsors."
David represents leading private equity sponsors in leveraged finance transactions, focusing on acquisition financings across the large-cap and middle markets. He also advises clients on liability management transactions. He joins Winston & Strawn as a partner in the Finance Practice.
His arrival follows finance partner additions Aaron Benjamin, Andrew Jacobs, Yulia Makarova, Aparna Sehgal and Richard Semple, and adds to a recent series of transactional partner additions across London, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Charlotte.
David said he was thrilled to join a team that is scaling quickly and doing highly impactful work. Chicago Office Managing Partner William O’Neil noted that David brings experience and perspective to support complex private equity transactions, and Transactions Department Co-Chairs Brad Vaiana and Tim Kincaid said his high-end experience complements the firm’s international finance platform.
