Benesch Welcomes Corporate Partner Terri Taibl Soni to Chicago Office

Terri draws on experience as in-house counsel and at Am Law firms and boutique practices. She advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic operators and individual investors on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions, guiding matters from ideation through closing and integration. Clients rely on her for practical guidance on corporate governance, compliance, contract interpretation, risk management and strategic decision-making. Her experience spans industries including healthcare, business services, consumer products and food and beverage.
Terri joins Benesch as a partner from Mercer Oak, where she was a partner. Earlier in her career she served as Associate General Counsel, Corporate and M&A at Cresco Labs and spent nearly nine years at Winston & Strawn LLP. She earned her J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
