Kalvaitis Skucas advises on the US federal and state regulatory aspects of energy matters, including compliance and enforcement issues for power companies, energy traders, and transmission and renewables developers. Her practice covers electricity, solar, onshore and offshore wind, hydroelectricity and waste-to-energy matters, and she brings substantial experience advising on matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), as well as on RTO and enforcement matters.
She joins White & Case as a partner, returning from another law firm where she served as a partner. Kalvaitis Skucas previously practiced at White & Case in Washington, DC as an associate from 2000 to 2008 and spent a significant portion of her career as a lawyer in the Office of the General Counsel at FERC.
