Couto joins the firm’s labor practice, bringing more than 10 years of experience as a civil servant within the Brazilian Labor Court system. His appointment is intended to reinforce and expand GMPR’s labor practice, adding technical expertise and a deep understanding of labor judiciary proceedings.
A graduate of PUC-GO with postgraduate specialization in Labor Law and Labor Procedure, Couto built his career in public service. He served as a Judicial Analyst at the Regional Labor Court of the 12th Region in Santa Catarina and, for more than four years, held the position of Clerk of Court (Director of Court Registry) at a Labor Court within the Goiás Regional Labor Court, a senior role involving the management of judicial proceedings and court operations.
