LCA Studio Legale appoints Riccardo Castiglioni as equity partner in IP protection
"LCA Studio Legale has hired Riccardo Castiglioni as equity partner to lead criminal IP protection and enforcement, joining with his team including senior associate Angela Vicari."
Castiglioni, formerly with CBMLD, has devoted his career to the criminal protection of industrial property. He is recognised for handling complex defence matters for leading operators, including European and non-EU multinationals, and for managing hundreds of proceedings a year against counterfeiting and criminal violations of industrial property rights. Since 1999 he has been a reference point for the protection of Made in Italy, collaborating with major trade associations in the textile, footwear and design sectors. In addition to his professional practice, Castiglioni has contributed for years to academic training, preparing Security Managers and sector operators on penal strategies to combat counterfeiting and on the criminal protection of know-how.
Angela Vicari joins LCA as a senior associate as part of Castiglioni’s team.
LCA partners stated that Castiglioni and his team bring both technical excellence and strong value alignment, strengthening the firm’s ability to provide comprehensive enforcement strategies and to cover the civil and criminal dimensions of industrial and intellectual property protection.
