Morrison Foerster Adds Corporate Tax Partner Freddie Schwier in London

Schwier brings an established corporate tax practice, regularly advising on high-profile cross-border transactions and providing general tax advisory support to institutional clients. He will work closely with London, U.S., and global colleagues on transactional tax matters including M&A, private equity, capital markets, restructuring and finance, alongside broader tax advisory mandates. His experience covers the corporate tax landscape for clients across sectors including AI, fintech and financial services, interactive and digital media, life sciences and healthcare, and technology.
Schwier joins Morrison Foerster from a major U.S.-based international law firm. He holds a B.A. in French and Italian from the University of Oxford, completed his Graduate Diploma in Law and LPC at BPP University Law School, is qualified to practice in England and Wales, and is fluent in French and Italian.
