Mehtap arrives from Hogan Lovells and will bolster Morgan Lewis’s aviation finance offering. She advises financial institutions, aircraft operating lessors, and airlines on complex domestic and cross-border aviation financings, including leasing, secured lending, and structured financings, and supports clients across the full lifecycle of aviation assets. Her practice encompasses secured debt, export credit agency–supported transactions, revolving credit facilities, finance leases, operating leases, and portfolio acquisitions. She has significant experience structuring and executing asset-backed financings for commercial and investment banks, financial institutions, aircraft operating lessors, and airlines, and also counsels clients on the purchase and financing of corporate aircraft and helicopters.
