Morgan Lewis Adds Dr. Alexander Meier as Partner to Munich Life Sciences Team

Meier joins the firm from Moderna in Switzerland, where he most recently served as vice president and head of legal regulatory strategy and global regulatory policy. He brings senior in‑house and external counsel experience advising on European and global regulatory strategy for innovative biotechnology products and is the third European partner to join Morgan Lewis’s global life sciences and healthcare platform in recent months, alongside Jackie Mulryne in London and Bart Jong in Brussels.
Meier’s practice focuses on European and German regulatory law for chemical and biological pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He advises biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies on regulatory strategy, competition law, and compliance matters, with particular experience in biopharmaceuticals, advanced therapy medicinal products, vaccines, and regulatory exclusivity frameworks. His arrival is intended to further enhance Morgan Lewis’s integrated regulatory and disputes platform in Europe and to build on the firm’s healthcare and life sciences growth in Germany and across Europe.
