McGuireWoods Adds Partner Mundo de la Fuente to Strengthen Data Center and Energy Practice

De la Fuente brings nearly two decades of experience representing energy, infrastructure and data center developers, as well as investors and lenders, in project development and financing transactions. He advises on domestic and cross-border projects and investments and represents a range of stakeholders — including developers, investors and utilities — on projects spanning renewables and battery energy storage to liquefied natural gas and midstream assets.
He is a key strategist for data center developers and hyperscalers, assisting clients with site acquisition, utility interconnections and contract negotiations with power generators, water suppliers and other resource providers.
He joins McGuireWoods from K&L Gates. His arrival enhances the firm’s energy and real estate capabilities and supports its work helping clients navigate infrastructure challenges associated with the AI boom.
