Anna-Jamieson Beck to Join U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina from McGuireWoods
"Anna-Jamieson Beck will join the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina as a law clerk to Judge Matthew Orso, assisting with civil and criminal matters."
In her new role on the judge’s chambers staff, Beck will support day-to-day chamber operations, assist with civil and criminal matters, conduct legal research, draft orders and attend court proceedings. She will serve in the capacity of law clerk to Judge Orso.
Prior to joining the court, Beck served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Kate M. Fox of the Wyoming Supreme Court. While in law school, she interned for Justice Philip Berger Jr. of the North Carolina Supreme Court and for Judge Jefferson Griffin of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Beck is leaving McGuireWoods, where she was employed as an associate.
