Howes Percival appoints Rob Lynch as commercial property Partner in Oxford

Rob Lynch has joined Howes Percival as a commercial property Partner in the firm’s Oxford office to help establish a dedicated commercial property team in the city.

Rob brings over 25 years’ experience of real estate transactions advising corporate occupiers, financial institutions, developers, educational and research establishments, investors and individuals. His transactional work covers freehold and leasehold acquisition, disposal and development, business leases, solar schemes, pension schemes (SIPP and SSAS) and property finance. He also regularly supports commercial, construction and corporate colleagues on transactional matters.

His specialist areas of practice include head office and tech campus acquisition and relocation; marina development; portfolio management; commercial and residential development; property finance; and the redevelopment of historic buildings. He joins Howes Percival at Partner level. The press release does not specify his prior firm or prior seniority.

Howes Percival’s Commercial Property team is described as one of the largest and most skilled teams of property specialists outside London, acting for major housebuilders, commercial developers, investors, lenders, business owners, charities, landowners, construction firms and public sector organisations. Howes Percival’s Oxford office was established in January 2024 following the acquisition of specialist commercial, IP and media firm Maier Blackburn, which was founded in 2012 and has a noted reputation in media and entertainment, acting for high-profile clients including the Tolkien Estate.
