McDermott Will & Schulte strengthens New York litigation team with partner Emily Chen
"Emily Chen joins McDermott Will & Schulte as a partner in New York to practice commercial and antitrust litigation, with a focus on class actions and securities enforcement."
Emily is a seasoned commercial litigator with deep antitrust experience. She represents organizations in complex, high-stakes commercial disputes and internal investigations, with a focus on class action litigation and securities enforcement matters. She has significant experience litigating antitrust and complex commercial matters across higher education, healthcare, energy, technology, media and entertainment, and financial services sectors, and has defended major accounting and consulting firms in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and state attorneys general. She joins McDermott from Kirkland & Ellis and will enter the firm as a partner.
Emily also serves as Co-Chair of the Asian American Bar Association of New York's Mentorship Committee. Her arrival reinforces McDermott's expanding New York litigation platform following the firm's recent merger and the addition of commercial litigator Jenny Lee from Kirkland & Ellis.
