Seth Farber Joins Haynes Boone White Collar and Investigations Practice in New York

Farber spent more than a decade as a partner at Winston & Strawn, where he previously served as head of the firm’s New York litigation practice and as co-chair of its white-collar practice. His practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense, government investigations and business litigation, including parallel civil and regulatory proceedings, securities and insider-trading matters, tax-fraud cases, antitrust disputes and financial-crime compliance.
A former federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York, Farber has tried numerous federal and state cases before juries in multiple jurisdictions and has argued civil and criminal appeals in several federal circuits. He has appeared before a range of enforcement authorities, including Securities and Exchange Commission offices, the Office of Foreign Assets Control and the New York State Attorney General’s Office.
Farber’s experience includes handling matters across the United States and advising clients internationally, including in Mexico, Argentina, Italy, Germany and Japan. He has also held leadership roles in the New York Bar, serving as a trustee of the Federal Bar Council, chair of the New York City Bar Association’s Dewey Medal Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Antitrust Section.
