Clark Hill Adds Colleen C. Jarrott as Senior Counsel in Environment, Energy & Natural Resources and Senior Director in Public Strategies

Jarrott brings more than 20 years of experience advising energy, manufacturing, and transportation companies on complex litigation, regulatory, and policy matters. She has deep experience in oil and gas, mineral law, and carbon capture and sequestration. Prior to joining Clark Hill, she served as co-lead of the Energy & Environment team at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP.
In her dual role at Clark Hill, Jarrott will support clients navigating legal, regulatory, and legislative challenges and help advance strategic public policy initiatives at the federal and state levels. She advises clients on environmental compliance, transactions, and litigation, and has represented energy companies before state and federal agencies including the Louisiana State Mineral and Energy Board, the Louisiana Department of Conservation & Energy, and the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality. Jarrott has played a leading role in the development of Louisiana’s regulatory and legislative regimes authorizing and promoting carbon capture and sequestration projects, is active in matters governing the energy transition in Louisiana, works with Louisiana industry trade associations, and will join the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association on February 9, 2026.
Jarrott earned her J.D. and B.A. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and is admitted to practice in Louisiana, the District of Columbia, and multiple federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
